POWERTRAIN COVERAGE FOR AS LONG AS YOU OWN YOUR VEHICLE!
Engine Coverage
All internally lubricated parts; water pump, harmonic balancer and its bolt and pulley; timing belt and tensioner, engine mounts, cylinder block, cylinder heads, intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds without internal catalytic converter; valve covers and timing cover if damaged by an internally lubricated part. Seals and gaskets only in conjunction with the repair or replacement of a Covered Part.
Transmission/Transfer Case
All internally lubricated parts, torque converter, transmission mounts, transmission/transaxle case, transfer case body, extension housing, transmission pan and bell housing if damaged by an internally lubricated part. Seals and gaskets only in conjunction with the repair or replacement of a covered part.
Drive Axles
All internally lubricated parts, front and rear wheel drive axle shafts and bearings, constant velocity joints, universal joints, drive shafts and yokes, center support bearings, differential housing if damaged by an internally lubricated part. Seals and gaskets only in conjunction with the repair or replacement of a covered part.
Rental Benefit
In the event of a Breakdown covered by this Certificate which requires at least two (2) hours of labor repair, We will pay or reimburse you for receipted expenses to rent a replacement vehicle (from a licensed rental agency) while Your Vehicle is in Our service department. Coverage will be provided to you up to a maximum of thirty ($30.00) dollars for every eight (8) labor hours, or portion thereof, of applicable labor time to complete the repair, up to a maximum of ninety ($90.00) dollars for each repair visit. In addition, a maximum of one (1) additional day of rental applies for inspection/parts delay. No Deductible will apply to this benefit.
Roadside Benefit
In the event of a breakdown covered by this warranty, we will pay or reimburse you for receipted towing expenses to have your vehicle towed to our service department up to a maximum of fifty ($50.00) dollars per occurrence. No Deductible will apply to this benefit.
Coverage Service Requirement & Vehicle Eligibility & Exclusion Information
New Vehicles: Previously untitled vehicles that have 12,000 odometer miles or less and have full manufacturer's basic and powertrain (if applicable) warranty at time of vehicle retail purchase.
Pre-Owned Vehicles: Previously titled vehicles that are no older than current 9 model years and have 90,000 odometer miles or less at time of vehicle retail purchase.

- All required maintenance specified on the Lifetime Warranty Certificate must be performed at the vehicle selling dealership and at the specified intervals. Failure to perform required maintenance will result in voiding of the Certificate.
- Program is inboarded on all eligible vehicles.
- Certificates are non-cancellable and non-transferrable by Certificate Holder.
- Pre-owned vehicle Certificates include thirty (30) day and twelve hundred fifty (1,250) mile elimination period calculated from vehicle retail purchase date on used vehicles
*OTHER TYPES OF INELIGIBLE VEHICLES
Vehicles rated greater than one ton. (2) Incomplete Chassis Vehicles [Vehicles with a Cab and Chassis Only]. (3) Vehicles with more than 10 cylinders. (4) Kit Cars. (5) Exotic Vehicles such as Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Ferrari, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini, Lotus, Maserati, Maybach, McClaren, Open, Pagani, Peugeot, Renault, Rolls-Royce, etc. (6) Vehicles with a branded title (e.g. salvage, total loss, flood, fire, junk, rebuilt, manufacturer buy-back [Lemon], TMU vehicles, or Gray Market vehicles [vehicles originally manufactured for sale and use outside of the US]). (7) Vehicles with rolled odometers, inoperative or unconfirmed odometers, or odometers measured only in kilometers, as well as, odometers that have been tampered with, altered, disconnected, or not maintained. (8) Vehicles uses – or previously uses – for commercial purposes, exhibition, competitive driving, municipal services, professional emergency services, police services, plowing snow, hire to public, transporting people for hire, or towing loads weighing in excess of Vehicle manufacturer’s specifications are not eligible in any instance. (9) Vehicles altered or modified in a manner that increases the likelihood of a breakdown, including, but not limited to, “non-stock” or modified components, snow plows, and the like, or the removal of emission control equipment. (10) Recreational Vehicles [RVs]. (11) Vehicles originally equipped without a turbo or supercharger, yet have a turbo or supercharger at the time of sale or anytime thereafter. (12) Any vehicle that has been repurchased by or had its price renegotiated with the manufacturer. Also any vehicle that has had the manufacturer’s warranty revoked, voided, or canceled; or any vehicle that never came with a manufacturer’s warranty. An example would be 2010 and newer Saab vehicles with an original in-service (OISD) of 3/1/2010 or later, which are not eligible for First Automotive VSC coverage. This is because Saab’s parent company, Swedish Automobiles, is not honoring the manufacturer’s warranty on 2010 and newer Saab vehicles. (13) Vehicles registered outside the contiguous United States, Alaska, or Hawaii. (14) Any Make/Model not specifically listed as eligible above.
